Echoes From Tomorrow is morphing into a new scriptwriting lab for emerging Cambodian writers and directors. In our inaugural 2024/25 edition, we will select 10 to 15 scriptwriters to participate from 25 to 29 November 2024 in an intensive short film scriptwriting workshop with 3 international script consulting mentors. During the 5-day workshop, the participants will engage in scriptwriting sessions in small groups and individually with their mentors. The program will also include masterclasses, pitch sessions, and case studies.
Five of these scripts will be selected and awarded production grants between 5,000 USD and 10,000 USD each. The awarded filmmakers will also receive production supervision and advice, in exchange for their commitment to transform their scripts into a completed short film by July 2025.
